Preventing and Responding to Gender-Based Violence (PaRGeV) laboratory

About Us

The laboratory aims to tackle the challenges related to gender-based violence through targeted and structured action. The key objectives include:

• Promoting research and knowledge production on gender-based violence, analyzing its causes, dynamics, and consequences.

• Strengthening dialogue between academic institutions, public bodies, and civil society organizations to ensure an effective and coordinated response to the phenomenon.

• Encouraging training and awareness initiatives on gender and violence-related issues, fostering lasting cultural change.

• Developing innovative intervention tools and strategies for the prevention of violence and support for victims.

The laboratory operates according to the following guidelines:

• Active collaboration among members from different disciplines and institutions.

• Compliance with ethical principles in research and intervention activities.

• Involvement of experts, associations, and public institutions to ensure concrete impact.

• Sharing and dissemination of research results through publications and events.
