About Us

The Preventing and Responding to Gender-Based Violence (PaRGEV) laboratory aims to create an interdisciplinary space dedicated to research and action to prevent and combat gender-based violence. Embedded in the tradition of activities carried out by the Department of Political and Social Studies, organized by Professor Giuseppina Cersosimo, the laboratory seeks to promote interdisciplinary and interinstitutional collaboration to address the complex challenges of gender-based violence in an integrated manner. The proposed studies aim to explore and analyze the social impacts of such violence, develop effective prevention strategies, and promote concrete activities aimed at preventing and contrasting gender-based violence
